Professional background

My work with the Census combined field operations, community outreach, team coordination and data. I worked with local organizations, government partners and media to reach communities that were historically harder to count, while also supporting the people responsible for carrying that work into the field.

It was an early lesson in solving communication and operational problems at scale — especially when the audience, circumstances and approach could change from one community to the next.

I worked across the operational and digital sides of a local political campaign, helping coordinate outreach, communications, content, events and performance tracking. The experience meant moving between very different kinds of work — looking at audience data one moment and helping execute community outreach the next.

It taught me how closely strategy and execution are connected when you’re working toward a real deadline with a real audience.
